Thats because even though you need to link your account to get the DLC the linked system itself is flawed as i explained in my first post. "So if I do need to link my accounts, then why aren't people just doing that, to get the DLC?" Because my solution required 1 to be true that shouldnt be hard to understand. I get that you read those stuff from other but you should have understood that 2 is not true from the solution i posted that was my point. Some people said you did need a linked account, and some said you didn't. It's not as good as I thought, but it's also not as bad as I thought. I'm not one of those people.Īgain, I only paid 26 bucks for this, so I don't really feel I'm losing anything. I'm not into that.īut if that is what's needed, linking accounts, then that's information for the people who want to waste time. Buy this game, but you have to do this and this and this, to fully play it. In a way, it's a loosely bait and switch. I'm not, cause I'm done linking 20 things, just to get what I paid for. So if I do need to link my accounts, then why aren't people just doing that, to get the DLC? That's why the first sentence was, "I've read different things", then did 1 and 2. Those were things I read from other people. I know that sucks and the linking system sucks but dont blame those that want to help you we cant change that. Here it is: If you are on steam you CAN NOT GET THE DLC WITHOUT LINKING YOUR ACCOUNT! Do i really have to spell it out for you? Cant you get that from the tip i gave you? I helped so many people do you expect a explanation thats so obvious even you can get it? I refuse to do something that asinine for a game that I purchased here, and not Bethesda.Ģ is wrong it dosent work without a linked account. Originally posted by □KingZher0□:If you read, I don't have my account linked. Let's buy a house, but have the kitchen locked off until we prove we bought the house.this is the logic here. Seems like lots of hoops to jump though to get something we paid for. 15 thousand things need your login information, just to get a stupid DLC. Bethesda should have no say, cause I didn't get the game from them.Īnd people wonder why their accounts get hacked. Especially if I bought said game from Steam. If Steam can see that I have this version, then I should have everything along with it. I feel it comes down to a lack of communication between Steam and Bethesda. I have other Bethesda games, with nothing linked and things work fine.(Fallout and both Skyrims)Īlso, I'm not logging/signing up, just to make a ticket, cause going that route, you can just link your accounts anyway, and solve the issue. If that is/was the case, then it should have been told upfront, that you need your account linked. I refuse to do something that asinine for a game that I purchased here, and not Bethesda. If you read, I don't have my account linked. Thats it and will fix your issue (also give you the DLC and the other rewards) What you need to do is make a ticket o the Bethesda rage 2 support site and tell them that your digital deluxe edition isnt being recognized by your account submit a proof of purchase as a pic and they will manually add it to your linked account. Your digital deluxe edition isnt being recognized by your linked account (every who bought it over steam has that issue) I try to drive there, and it spawns me where I left with the message "outside of known world" or whatever it is. I've gone into the towns, got a vehicle, and drove around.while destroying convoys. I have yet to get it, with no linked account. You need a linked Bethesda account in order to get the DLCĢ.
